A couple weeks ago, I met a college friend for dinner at Coppelia's, a latin themed diner in Chelsea. I had some great beef nachos that had a small after-kick and lots of flavor (I would attach a picture but low quality pic, high quality food). However, as I walked up to the diner, I spotted the Donut Pub a door down and was told by a friend that I needed to try it.
Essentially, I was excited for dinner but much more excited for dessert because I think the whole world knows that I am obsessed with donuts. I'm known as "the donut girl" multiple places...
Since I was so excited about this donut place (it's open 24 hours so thankfully I do not live nearby...), I couldn't settle for just one donut. So the ones I settled for were:
A CINNAMON SUGAR TWIST & CHOCOLATE COVERED CAKE RING
Both donuts were tasty, my favorite being the raised cinnamon sugar twist, however they were not the best donuts I have ever eaten. But these donuts are not supposed to be the best donuts you will ever eat because they are around $1.30 a piece and is all about the classic greasy donut that everyone should love. These donuts reminded me of a better version of a gas station donut that I get before every trip I go on.
With that being said, since it's so cheap I would return to The Donut Pub because I should be on a budget and I usually need my donut fix and these donuts are tasty enough to satisfy my never-ending craving for donuts.
