Dough Loco

My latest adventure in the World of Sweets was going to Dough Loco off of 97th and Madison. I stopped in before classes one morning  cause sometime you just have to treat yo' self. I ordered 3 donuts, unsure of which I was going to eat myself. The flavors included guava honey lemon, coco loco, and blood orange. I was hoping for a strong orange flavor, however my expectations were not exceeded. The glaze was just OKAY not great. The texture of the dough however... wow. That was great. It was layered with the perfect amount of squish when I bit into it. If I return to Dough Loco, I think I would go for the simple chocolate frosted because I have to remind myself that sometimes fancier isn't better.
